Project Description
The Ugandan iron and steel industry has been growing at unprecedented rates averaging from 20% and 30% per annum for imports and exports respectively. However, the huge number of deposits remain untapped on the upstream side of the value chain.The project is to establish an integrated iron and steel manufacturing facility aimed at supporting Uganda’s industrialization agenda.
