Project Description
The Kilembe Mines golf course is an undulating 18-hole, par 73 golf course set-out at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains in Kasese District of Western Uganda. It’s described as one of the oldest, longest and most challenging golf courses in Uganda and East Africa, with the ability to provide a true test of golfing skill and judgement. The course is surrounded by the Snowcapped Rwenzori Mountains, Queen Elizabeth national park, Kibale Forest National Parks and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, making this a prime destination for the golf community in Uganda and around the globe to track Chimpanzees, trek Gorillas, or/ and simply marvel at the tree climbing lions, creating a memorable golf-safari vacation.
The course occupies 230 acres of land, the project will include; 18-Hole Championship Golf Course, Five- star Luxury Hotel (120–200 Rooms), Resort Facilities (Swimming Pools, Spa, Gym, Sports Courts), Conference & Banqueting Centre (500–1,000 Pax Capacity), Golf Academy & Clubhouse, Retail Spaces, Restaurants & Lounges
